Proudly made in Texas. 3D Printed right in our workshop.
Our 3D printed shaft clamps are affordable, yet can provide outstanding grip against the shaft at lower clamping forces, they also preload the shaft from the sides, preventing shaft deformation even at high clamping forces.
These are some of their features:
-10-15° Shaft Angle - Allows you to position the clamps closer to the center of the vise, reducing flex and misalignment.
-Assymetric Profile - Preloads the shaft from the sides, while the vise provides the direct clamping force, this reduces the force needed to firmly grip the part, while also preventing shaft deformation even at high clamping loads.
-No Risk - They are incredibly easy and safe to use, there is absolutely no risk of scratching the shaft (unlike others).
-Affordable AF - The $15 price tag may make you doubt the quality, but these grip much better than even some of the most expensive CNC machined options out there. We could sell them for more if that makes you happy, but the raw material is dirt cheap, the price comes mainly from the ~1h of print time to make each.
-Mildly Heat Resistant - It’s plastic, don’t forget that. However, these have a ~70° heat deflection rating, meaning that you can use them even on parts you need to heat up to break the Loctite, just keep them 6+ inches from the heat source and heated part.
