Low friction Igus® sleeve bearings/bushings. Compound optimized for pivoting loads.
Flange bushings lack support where it’s needed the most; in the center. Shock bushings wear quicker from the edges due to side loads, while the middle section can keep a proper fit for much longer. The continuous surface of sleeve bushings/bearings maintains a positive engagement even if/when the edges start to wear out. Resulting in a smooth and play-free performance for hundreds of riding hours.
Improved durability (compared to flange bushings) even with side loads, due to their continuous contact surface.
They can stay in place during service, no need to remove them to securely clamp the shock in the vise.
Optional 3D printed Igus® spacers and square-cut seals to maintain the exact width as flange bushings.
Compatible with most Fox, Rockshox, Cane Creek, Öhlins, DVO…and more. (15.00-15.02mm eyelet bore).
They can be burnished after installation to further reduce friction on tight eyelets.
For oversized shock eyelets (15.03+mm) consider using Fox/Rockshox DU bushings.
Bushing install/removal/burnishing/gauge tool set available soon.
